zoochlorellae are present in <strong>the</strong> cell, body length 110 μm; 2, Stichotricha<br />

secunda, out <strong>of</strong> lorica, long straight adoral zone <strong>of</strong> membranelles is<br />

conspicuous (arrow); 3, 4, Amphisiella oblonga, with spatulate posterior large<br />

adoral zone <strong>of</strong> membranelles and two ovoid macronuclei (4, arrows), body<br />

length 90 μm; 5, Urostyla grandis, large ciliate (body length 280 μm),<br />

brownish due to presence <strong>of</strong> numerous cortical granules; 6, Urostyla grandis,<br />

posterior end, with distinct cortical granules and many macronuclear nodules;<br />

7, 8, Urostyla grandis, with prominent adoral zone <strong>of</strong> membranelles and<br />
