group have from their business partner, business etiquette, how to
approach prospects, etc. We reinvent ourselves nearly every day.
How would you briefly describe the technological capabilities
and products of Purplan?
As a special system builder Purplan supports the plastics processing
and chemicals industry worldwide to store and process the
liquid raw materials used in an efficient, safe and environmentallyfriendly
manner. Its focal points here are polyurethanes and synthetic
resins, in other words the substances from which car fittings,
insulating and adhesive materials, mattresses, varnish, rainwear
etc are made. For this Purplan not only develops and produces
tanks, mixing tanks, reaction systems and much more but also
offers very extensive services such as automation designs, process
consultancy, remote support, maintenance and training courses
etc. The challenge for Purplan is to combine high-level engineering
with innovative technologies and solid craftsmanship. Through
the cooperation of our employees who have the most diverse of
backgrounds and experiences, we ensure this happens and as a
result achieve the best possible results for our customer projects.
Does your company have something that is typical of
Niedersachsen?
Purplan has disseminated itself across the world from its base in
Niedersachsen in a very short time. Here our persistence and desire
to try something new has also driven us forward. However, at the
same time we have remained very down to earth and strongly rooted
in the local region. I would say that is typical of Niedersachsen!
What are your plans for the future and what medium-term
goals have you set for yourselves?
In the future we want to continue to consolidate our corporate
head office in Niedersachsen. Therefore we are currently investing
heavily to expand the Wallenhorst site. At the same time we will
continue to stretch out our feelers across the world. South America
is a market that is equally exciting as India or the whole ASEAN
area for us.
