Roxtec: Fire-rated cable seals
Roxtec has recently launched its CF F1 product group, which includes
fire-rated versions of its tried and tested CF compact seals.
The sealing system in this new product group and the properties of
their materials have been successfully tested and certified in accordance
with CEN/TS 45545, parts 2 and 3. The frames surrounding
the cable openings in the CF F1 product group are remarkably
lightweight and are an alternative to the regular Roxtec S, G, R
and RS frames, which have also been tested to ensure compliance
with CEN/TS 45545-3. The new frames boost the efficiency and the
sealing properties of between 15 and 60 prefabricated cables in a
single opening with the Roxtec CF F1. This exhibitor’s products have
been tested by leading classification societies and have been certified
in accordance with the European standard CEN/TS 45545. They
also comply with other test standards such as ASTM E662, UL 94,
DIN 5510-2 and NFF 16-101/102.

RPC Infotrans: Automated diagnostics complex
for rail infrastructure
The automated diagnostics complex ADK-I ERA from the Russian exhibitor
RPC Infotrans is a highly efficient tool for checking the condition
of technical rail infrastructure facilities such as sections of track
and overhead contacts as well as communication and monitoring
systems. When linked to rail and geodata coordination systems this
twin car diagnostics set-up can be used to check on more than 120
parameters and can evaluate some 140 parameters relating to evaluation
data and analytical processing functions. The developers draw
attention to the most innovative feature of ADK-I ERA: the possibility
provided by a test for obtaining all kinds of information about the
condition of the technical infrastructural facility, which is of decisive
importance for its operating safety and for determining whether it is
fit for purpose. The exhibitor’s RPI manual rail measuring device enables
weak points in the track infrastructure to be identified. It involves
comparing the parameters of a loaded rail freight car with the figures
for an unladen RPI.
