MöllerWerke:
Multilayer silicon-Nomex fabric
MöllerWerke, based in Bielefeld, develops and manufactures drive
motor ventilator bellows under the brand name möllerbalg ® . It is presenting
the latest model of bellows for the first time at InnoTrans
2012. Its advantages include a multilayer material made of silcon-
Nomex fabric, an in-house development. The well-defined, permanent
folds ensure the specific movement of the bellows. The external
contour is fully enclosed and, unlike conventional ventilation
bellows for drive motors, has no seams, a result of the use of vulcanised
seals. Other advantages include the gas-tight seal and
stability when subjected to excess internal pressure, due to the
external rings embedded in the folds. The new bellows are also
chemical- and wear-resistant, not affected by external impact, and
very long-lasting.
Moviken-SLE: Stand-alone
passenger information and navigation system
The many years of experience gained by Moviken-SLE in the field of
service management and information systems, allied to the know-how
of Moviken in the area of cartography, have enabled the development
of an autonomous on-board passenger information and navigation
system: Navibus. This offers provides bus and train passengers with
one or more super-wide high resolution TFT screens. The visual displays
are supplemented by audio channels for voice announcements,
with separate channels for interior and exterior announcements. In
addition to the information normally transmitted to the traveller, the
Navibus screens also provide passengers with an inter-active and
multi-scale diagram of the line, with a display sequence showing the
current position of the vehicle and a cartographic check-back to the
passenger’s first search entry. These navigation applications are the
exhibitor’s response to the growing demand for information on the
part of passengers.
