This year LSG Sky Chefs is taking part in <strong>InnoTrans</strong> for the first time<br />
in its 70-year history. This well-known European travel caterer believes<br />
that some excellent opportunities exist in the rail sector. Onboard<br />
service concepts that are tailored to the needs of train operators,<br />
beginning before passengers board the train and extending<br />
for the whole duration of the journey right up to the destination, ensure<br />

LTG: Highly inductive metal louvres<br />
With their narrow, unobtrusive design the LDB series of highly inductive<br />
louvres from LTG Aktiengesellschaft are ideal for use in rail vehicles.<br />
The air flow and volume can be individually configured and<br />
adapted to the differing requirements of areas such as passenger<br />
compartments, entry areas, restaurants or drivers’ cabs. With their<br />
highly inductive combination of individual jets in the immediate vicinity<br />
of the outlet they guarantee a steady flow of air accompanied<br />
by a high degree of thermal comfort with rapid cooling. LDB louvres<br />
operate very quietly and can also be used w<strong>here</strong> room height is restricted.<br />
Even if the incoming air is at a low temperature condensation<br />
is unlikely to form. The Type LDB 12/8, which has already proved<br />
its effectiveness, has highly inductive outlets made of aluminium<br />
combined with flame-proof plastic. A new product being displayed<br />
by LTG at the fair is the vandal-proof, non-inflammable LDB 12/M LTG<br />
System clean ® made entirely of metal.<br />
