RailLok crane rail clamps with double wedge design<br />
GANTREX ® has launched a new generation of weldable crane rail<br />
clamps and elastic rail pads. The new products feature some outstanding<br />
design elements to meet the requirements imposed on<br />
today’s rails and conveyor systems. One of the main characteristics<br />
of the RailLok range of welded clamps is its new “Double<br />
Wedge” design. This ensures simple and secure assembly and an<br />
effective contact between the rail clamp and the rail foot. The innovative<br />
shape of the new rail clamps means they can be rapidly<br />
installed by avoiding two major stages in the process. Firstly the<br />
upper part of the clamp no longer has to be hammered into place,<br />
and secondly t<strong>here</strong> is no longer any need to use a torque wrench.<br />
RailLok clamps are also very compact, with the result that rails<br />
can also be installed on narrow crane track supports or base plates,<br />
which also reduces costs.<br />

GEOPAC CAD system with new track layout module<br />
The display by GEO DIGITAL GmbH at <strong>InnoTrans</strong> 2012 includes<br />
some new features of its GEOPAC CAD system for EliteCAD V12.<br />
Among them are a completely new track layout module, GEOPAC-<br />
GRADIENTE. During the planning of rail systems it not only supports<br />
the planning of the height of an axis but also displays the<br />
height and position of gradients of parallel or intersecting axes.<br />
In addition the interface module GEOPAC-DXF has been improved<br />
to provide a loss-free exchange of data and an innovative LandXML<br />
interface has been created for a realistic exchange of the<br />
full range of track layout data between GEOPAC and other software<br />
and measuring equipment. The new plug-in module allows<br />
the highly automated generation of digital plug-in data and indexes<br />
of fixed points along the track. In addition the envelope method<br />
now also supports 100 per cent low floor, multi-articulated<br />
vehicles with suspended low-floor centre sections.<br />
