They are the driving force behind the efficient, safe and environmentally friendly rail transport of tomorrow. You will be able to see for yourself the innovative strengths of the international rail industry in Berlin from 18 to 21 September at InnoTrans 2012: Over 2,500 exhibitors from 49 countries are occupying all available space on the Exhibition Grounds in order to display their latest products and services. With 104 exhibits making their world debut, more than ever before at the leading fair for transport technology, and many others on show for the first time in Germany or in Europe, the InnoTrans 2012 sets global standards. This development clearly shows that cycles of innovation by the international railway industry are increasingly being timed to coincide with InnoTrans and that, as a consequence, the media and all the world’s experts are focused on this trade show as the ideal platform for exhibits that are making their market debut. With this Innovation Report we aim to provide you with some insights into the diversity of innovative railway engineering products which are being displayed to the public at InnoTrans.
