Cyclosystem Pte: Automated cleaning
of the undercarriage
The Cyclojet automatic undercarriage cleaning system uses high
pressure jets of water for the rapid, effective and safe cleaning of
the underside of various types of trains. Ultrasound and laser technology
are used to determine whether various parts of the undercarriage
require cleaning. Oscillating high pressure jets installed
in the Cyclojet chassis cleaning unit carry out automated cleaning
and rinsing of individual parts. The liquid cleaning agent is automatically
filtered and recycled within the unit. The BULOX brake valve
testing system can reliably simulate the operation of the brakes and
of other pneumatic air valves in a single machine. It can test up to
30 different types of pneumatic air valves found on EMU trains, with
a maximum testing pressure of 16 bar. BULOX Equipment, a division
of the BULOX Corporation, is currently trading as Cyclosystem Pte
Ltd, and designs, manufactures and distributes maintenance equipment
for rail vehicles.
Damm Cellular Systems: Reliable,
fast voice and data communication
The DAMM booth at InnoTrans is showing how the modern infrastructure
for voice and data communication via radio with TetraFlex ® can
meet the increased demands for security and operating efficiency in
a public transport system. TetraFlex ® has been developed to ensure
the reliable, fast and continuous TETRA voice and data communication
required for operational processes that are vital for the success
of a business. The TetraFlex ® architecture is fully networked and is
100 per cent IP-based. This means that the maximum on-site flexibility
and the ability to offer expanded capacity are guaranteed without interfering
with ongoing operations. The easily accessible API permits
seamless integration with other system environments, for example,
vehicle dispatch solutions, signalling systems and pa ssenger information
systems. TetraFlex ® is available both with an internal base station
and with an IP65-protected, compact external base station, thereby
ensuring a high degree of installation flexibility.
