ASCI Systemhaus:
Efficient control of company processes
RailDISPO enables rail transport companies to efficiently control the
effective provision of transport services, making best possible use of
available resources. This web-based management software and telematics
solution comprises the processing of orders, a
graphic representation of the deployment of personnel
and rolling stock, and accounting. The 2012 version has
been developed to satisfy new requirements, with improvements
to personnel planning, such as the scheduling
and display of services. The result is a simplified
allocation of days for time off and work availability. The
new Java-based client application also allows decentralized
use and decentralized access under changing
conditions in on- and off-line status. Dispatch by email
now takes place automatically, for example in supplying
movement reports with details about times as well
as vehicle and train data. RailDISPO, a joint venture
project involving MIB Ingenieurgesellschaft für Verkehrssysteme mbH
and ASCI Systemhaus GmbH, is partially supported by the Federal Ministry
of Economics (BMWi).

ASE: Freight wagon data and images
for every wagon number
In paragraph 4.2.8. “Reporting system of railway wagon movements”
the EU regulation (TSI) “Telematics Applications for Freight
Traffic” specifies that data such as ‘wagon departure’, ‘wagon arrival’,
‘hazardous goods’ and the UIC number must be stored and
electronically accessible. NUMBERCheck, a new, intelligent optical
system, automatically collects the relevant data when wagons
are entering or leaving the shunting station or container terminal,
factory or port area and makes this information available to the
respective railway or industrial data network. In addition to each
wagon number, images of the wagons that pass through are also
stored. This recorded information provides details about the condition
of each wagon, so that any possible damage can be clarified
or claims can be submitted. Through interfaces with nearly all
known railway companies the system also offers automatic billing
for the owner of the infrastructure.
