FTTH Network Termination
By introducing latest FTTH Gigabit Ethernet Point-to-Point access technology, Iskratel brings carrier
class low power consumption networking solution for open access networks to enable wholesale
broadband services to different service providers. FTTH NT Innbox F29 combines opto-electrical
converter and LAN switch in single device. It enables network providers to offer connections up to 1
Gbps in both directions with the standard Gigabit Ethernet technology. Dual rate operation is
supported as well, which enables connectivity of Innbox F29 to Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet
enabled Central Office aggregation switch. Furthermore, Innbox F29 NT enables multiple profile
arrangement to gain symmetrical or asymmetrical connections from CO to provide desired
bandwidths even on much longer subscriber loops – up to 10km with full throughput – since fiber
optics technology enables it. By additional FXS port voice services are supported as well.
The FTTH NT Innbox F29 supports delivery of all triple play services: internet data, Voice over IP (VoIP) and IP video
including bandwidth consuming HDTV. For packet based terminal devices and home gateways it provides eight
10/100/1000 Ethernet ports.
Featuring per port/VLAN quality of service (QoS) the Innbox F29 NT can easily enable real-time multimedia services,
such as IPTV and telephony services.
Additionally FXS port for telephony services is provided using Voice over IP technology compatible with SIP server
environments.
FTTH NT Innbox F29 brings additional centralized configuration option to manage multiple devices in the access network
at the same time with same profile setting, and software upgrade as well.
Its most differentiated value is very low power consumption which is 3 times lower than limits defined by EU Code of
Conduct on Energy Consumption of Broadband Equipment.
Optionally, device can use powering over UTP cabling, which eliminates the need for local power supply adapter.
