ASC Master PC Requirements<br />

<strong>Ingersoll</strong> <strong>Rand</strong> specifies that your ASC Server PC utilize the following hardware and software as a minimum:<br />

• Pentium 4 - 2.8 GHz processor<br />

• 1 GB DDR<br />

• 40 GB free hard drive space - <strong>Ingersoll</strong> <strong>Rand</strong> recommends 80 GB hard drive<br />

• Microsoft Windows 2003 Server STANDARD EDITION (Multi-Language for non-English applications)<br />

• Windows Internet Explorer Version 6.0 or later<br />

• CD-R/W drive<br />

• TCP/IP compatible network interface card - 100 Mbps<br />

(2nd network interface card required if connecting to local LAN)<br />

• 17" or larger monitor with 1024x768 resolution<br />

• 104 key, alphanumeric keyboard<br />

• 2-Button mouse<br />

System Control Using ASC<br />

Remote Supervisory Control (from ASC Server)<br />

• Remote compressor control with <strong>Ingersoll</strong> <strong>Rand</strong> controllers<br />

• Remote access as if user was at the local panel<br />

(Local panel must be in remote/network mode)<br />

• Start/stop<br />

• Load/unload<br />

Compressor Sequencing<br />

• Compressors may be ordered in any sequence within the system the ASC operates<br />

• Schedule sequence changes with the powerful scheduler tool<br />

• Equalize running hours on sequenced compressors<br />

System Scheduler<br />

• Change system settings on a set, regular schedule<br />

• Schedule start/stop/load/unload based on known events<br />

• Schedule control for compressors as well as auxiliary equipment<br />

Auxiliary Equipment (Dryers, Cooling Towers, Water Pumps, Etc.)<br />

• Starting and stopping based upon compressor operation (one-to-one relationship)<br />

• Monitor and continuously adjust inlet and bypass valve position<br />

• More efficient operation of system<br />
