How does the impulse mechanism work?<br />
Air motor freely turns cylinder filled with fluid (orange colour on the left<br />
drawing), until protrusions (1)<br />
inside the cylinder touch the rotor<br />

shovels (green colour) and seal<br />

the chamber (2). Further cylinder<br />
rotation by few degrees results in<br />

a sudden pressure increase<br />

(see colour change from orange<br />
into red). It creates „hydraulic impulse” which is almost entirely converted<br />
into torque applied to the fastener, with minimum torque reaction onto the<br />
operator's hand. Energy of this „hydraulic impulse” can be adjusted with<br />
the small valve allowing fluid to bypass the protrusion. As soon as the<br />
protrusion inside the cylinder has passed rotor „shovel”, pressure<br />
decreases and freely rotating cylinder accelerates for the next cycle.<br />
How does the impulse shut-off mechanism work?<br />
The maximum „hydraulic impulse” pressure is<br />
achieved, when the rotor does not turn any more<br />
(maximum torque for the given setting of<br />
the bypass valve has been reached).<br />
Reaching maximum pressure will<br />
shift the diaphragm in the rear part<br />
of the cylinder and, through<br />
the pushrod, switch off the air supply valve<br />
in the rear part of the tool.<br />

All nutrunners are reversible. Specification at 620 kPa. Air inlet 1/4" NPT. Recommended hose 10 mm (100P4, 130P4, 140P6, Q90P3, Q110P4 – 13 mm).<br />
Noise level 74 - 82 dBa. Final torque may vary depending on air pressure, joint, socket and extension used. Torque ranges should be used as guide only.<br />
For the best performance use tools at the mid-torque range. Air consumption: for tools up to 50Nm 4-6 l/s, for larger tools - up to 12 l/s.<br />
For impulse mechanism refill use only recommended liquid EQ106S-400-1 (100 g), EQ106S-K400 (kit with syringe) or EQ106S-BF400-1 (1 gallon).<br />
