SCREWDRIVERS WITH ELECTRO-STATIC DISCHARGE CONTROL
Static electricity is everywhere. It is most commonly created by friction and
separation: when two items are separated electrons are transferred from one
object to the other. It has become a real nuisance in the electronic industry. In
particular it is critical in the production of disc drives and printed circuit boards and
assembly of the electronic components.
ESD series screwdrivers and power supply all fully grounded (including clutch) to
prohibit static electricity build-up and sudden discharge. Improved soft stop
clutch mechanism reduces inertia by ca. 90% and minimises soft and hard
failures to sensitive electronic equipment.
All screwdrivers are reversible.
