$28,484.00
The current study addresses the public health problem of violence exposure among homeless
youth. We will test an intervention that aims to reduce revictimization among homeless
youth by focusing on youth’s abilities to detect and respond to potentially dangerous
situations and people, referred to as risk detection. The goals of this project are: to develop a
manualized intervention for reducing homeless youths’ street victimization; to test the
feasibility of providing this intervention to a sample of homeless youth in Denver; and to
determine preliminary outcomes associated with the intervention. Role: co-PI with Kim
