Unpacking<br />

When unpacking, make sure the item is<br />

intact and undamaged. If any parts are missing<br />

or broken, call <strong>Harbor</strong> <strong>Freight</strong> <strong>Tools</strong> at the number<br />

shown on the cover of this document.<br />

Please Note: All assembly hardware will be<br />

found in the bottom drawer during unpacking.<br />

Keep this manual for the safety warnings and<br />

precautions, assembly, operating, inspection, maintenance<br />

and cleaning procedures. Write the product’s<br />

serial number in the back of the manual on the last<br />

page (or month and year of purchase if product has<br />

Important SAFETY<br />

Information<br />

Do not exceed the maximum weight<br />

capacities of the Top Chest (330 lb.), Bottom<br />

Cabinet (500 lb.) or overall Tool Cabinet<br />

(830 lb.). Be aware of dynamic loading!<br />

Dropping or bouncing a load may briefly<br />

create excess load causing product failure.<br />

Assemble only according to these<br />

instructions. Improper assembly can create<br />

hazards.<br />

Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and<br />

heavy-duty work gloves during assembly.<br />

Keep assembly area clean and well lit.<br />

Keep bystanders out of the area during<br />

assembly.<br />

Do not assemble when tired or when under<br />

the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.<br />

Do not open more than one drawer at a time.<br />

Load evenly from bottom up, with heavier<br />

items placed towards back of drawer or<br />

cabinet. Spread the weight evenly in the<br />

drawers.<br />

Do not stand or climb on Tool Cabinet.<br />

Inspect before use: do not use if parts are<br />

loose of damaged.<br />

to support weight of the Tool Cabinet and its<br />

This product is not a toy. Do not allow children<br />

Handles using chains, ropes or other lifting<br />

devices. The side handles may fail, which<br />

could result in personal injury, damage to the<br />

Do not mount this product on a truck bed or<br />

any other moving object as this could create<br />

a hazardous condition.<br />

Do not tow this product with power equipment.<br />

The product could tip, which may<br />

cause personal injury or product damage.<br />

Secure drawers well before moving Tool<br />

Cabinet with a forklift.<br />

Do not alter this product in any manner. For<br />

example, do not weld external lock bars or<br />

attach electrical equipment. This may cause<br />

personal injury or product damage.<br />

Keep the product on level surfaces. The<br />

product may become unstable and tip if<br />

placed on a sloped surface.<br />

Close the cover and lock the drawers before<br />

moving this product. The drawers could<br />

come open and make the product unstable<br />

Assembly Instructions<br />

beginning of this document including<br />

all text under subheadings therein<br />

before set up or use of this product.<br />

Please Note: All Nuts have been pre-installed<br />

to the unit.<br />

Use the M8x16 Hex Screws and Washers<br />

(15) to fasten the Chest Handles (1) to the<br />

side of the Tool Chest. See Figure 1.<br />

Use the M8x20 Hex Screws with Washers<br />

and Spring Washers (16) to fasten the Casters<br />

(13, 14) to the bottom of the Tool Cabinet.<br />

NOTE: Make sure both Locking Casters (13)<br />

are installed on the same side. See Figure 3.<br />

To remove Drawers (7, 12), empty and fully<br />

extend Drawer. Lift the locking tab on the left<br />

side UP and push the locking tab on the right<br />

side DOWN. Then pull drawer to remove.<br />

See Figure 4.<br />

Use the M8x25 Hex Screws with Washers<br />

and Spring Washers (17) to fasten the<br />

Cabinet Handle (9) to the side of the Cabinet.<br />

See Figure 2.<br />

5.<br />

(Push Down)<br />

To reinstall the Drawer, push the Drawer<br />

into the Drawer Slot (8, 11) until the Drawer<br />

stops.<br />

<strong>Harbor</strong> <strong>Freight</strong> <strong>Tools</strong> Co. makes every effort to assure that its products meet high quality and durability standards, and warrants<br />

to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 90 days from the date<br />

of purchase. This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, repairs or<br />

alterations outside our facilities, criminal activity, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We shall in<br />

no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages arising<br />

from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above<br />

limitation of exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express<br />

or implied, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness.<br />

To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of<br />

purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection verifies the defect, we will either<br />

repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you<br />

with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted<br />

from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.<br />
