Births have occurred in every month (see figure 5.1), but peaks are visible in June and September.<br />
About 50% of the births occurred during the 5 month period of June-October. There can be<br />
concluded that crowned pigeons have no specific breeding season. Eggs are laid trough the year,<br />
which is expected for inhabitants of tropical forests.<br />
