The Kitchen is HOT ....
FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD - I LOVE IT!!!! I believe food is life’s greatest discovery
..... and not just because it keeps us alive, but because of the experience and
ecstasy that it brings. Whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner or even a choc
top at the movies - food is everything! I like to smell it, look at it (not for long),
savour it and then talk about it. I need to enjoy the moment, the individuality that
goes into it - I love the feeling of the spherical clusters on the epithelium of my
tongue ..... I could go on and on really.
However, it is safe to say that the importance of food, doesn’t stop with me.
Here at the Club our kitchen brigade proves over and over again how dedicated,
passionate and knowledgable they are. With their innovative daily specials,
their uncompromising commitment to consistency and their allegiance to the
flavours, this is the real reason you all keep coming back. So from your brigades
here at the Club, we look forward to tickling those taste buds more often
in 2010.
So, now it’s time for me to go and order my lunch, a little ‘heads up’ from the
foodie here at the Club, the chicken and beef shasliks are a goer at Club Kilsyth,
whilst the Italian Arancini is sensaaaaational at Club Ringwood.

McDonald’s® Bayswater North joins Kilsyth Basketball as a Major Sponsor
The new partnership aims to conduct two community open days at the Kilsyth Sports Centre in 2010.
The first McDonald’s® Community Basketball Day will be held on Saturday 10 April 2010 and offer the
local community an opportunity to take part in clinics and games run by the Swinburne Kilsyth Cobras.
All junior domestic clubs will take part in the day with new players able to sign up for teams, register for
Aussie Hoops and have heaps of fun.
It is envisaged the Open Day will take on a carnival type atmosphere with other free activities, prizes and giveaways.
Kilsyth Basketball General Manager Grant Wallace complemented McDonald’s® Bayswater North on their community minded
approach and spoke of the positive impact the Open Days will create.

showcase itself to the wider community.”
