Research Center, the Upper Midwest Aerospace Consortium,<br />
two technology incubators, the Northern Plains Indian<br />
Law Center, and more.<br />
Northland <strong>Community</strong> and Technical College<br />
Northland <strong>Community</strong> and Technical College (Northland)<br />
is a comprehensive community and technical college with<br />
campuses in East Grand Forks and in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.<br />
NCTC offers certificates, diplomas and degrees.<br />
The East Grand Forks campus offers programs in health,<br />
business, liberal arts, and technology and trades. The campus<br />
specializes in offering health-related career opportunities.<br />
Students can also take advantage of over 22 associate<br />
of applied science degrees, with articulation agreements<br />
with Bemidji State University, Minnesota State University<br />
Moorhead and the University of North Dakota.<br />
Northland <strong>Community</strong> and Technical College students are<br />
as diverse as their interests. Some students are recent<br />
high school graduates, some are employees interested in<br />
expanding or updating their skills, some are taking courses<br />
for personal enrichment, and some are getting the –education<br />
they never got after high school. Overall, the East<br />
Grand Forks campus enrolls over 1,750 students and employs<br />
75 faculty members.<br />
University of Mary<br />
The University of Mary offers a satellite location in Grand<br />
Forks with a flexible program to meet unique needs. The<br />
University of Mary has been a leader in adult education<br />
since its founding. They recognize the major obligations<br />
of family, work, and community as you pursue advanced<br />
study. U-Mary addresses these needs by offering accelerated<br />
programs that meet one night a week or online 24/7.<br />
