outreach facilities, including the Energy and Environmental
Research Center, the Upper Midwest Aerospace Consortium,
two technology incubators, the Northern Plains Indian
Law Center, and more.
Northland Community and Technical College
Northland Community and Technical College (Northland)
is a comprehensive community and technical college with
campuses in East Grand Forks and in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
NCTC offers certificates, diplomas and degrees.
The East Grand Forks campus offers programs in health,
business, liberal arts, and technology and trades. The campus
specializes in offering health-related career opportunities.
Students can also take advantage of over 22 associate
of applied science degrees, with articulation agreements
with Bemidji State University, Minnesota State University
Moorhead and the University of North Dakota.
Northland Community and Technical College students are
as diverse as their interests. Some students are recent
high school graduates, some are employees interested in
expanding or updating their skills, some are taking courses
for personal enrichment, and some are getting the –education
they never got after high school. Overall, the East
Grand Forks campus enrolls over 1,750 students and employs
75 faculty members.
University of Mary
The University of Mary offers a satellite location in Grand
Forks with a flexible program to meet unique needs. The
University of Mary has been a leader in adult education
since its founding. They recognize the major obligations
of family, work, and community as you pursue advanced
study. U-Mary addresses these needs by offering accelerated
programs that meet one night a week or online 24/7.
