Forest hike with a view
Baden Railway Station – Hertenstein – Ebni –
Steinenbühl – Iflue –Siggenthal Station
From Baden Railway Station, hike via the Kurpark
(park) to the spa area. The Grand Casino Baden and
the Kurtheater are located in the park. The park itself
is an oasis within the city with its centuries-old
trees. From the spa area (see p. 12), the route continues
through the vineyards up to Hertenstein and
then farther up to Ebni, from where you can enjoy a
spectacular view. The path to the desired excursion
points is well marked. The view from Iflue and the
descent to Siggenthal Railway Station are both
memorable. The descent is rather steep but easy to
walk and well marked with yellow route signs.
Places of interest:
This hike provides one splendid view after another
over the entire Siggental Valley and leads through
forest glades with huts and fire pits (barbecue sites)
to small hamlets, including the hamlet of Steinenbühl.
Here, you will find some residential and farm
buildings, as well as the traditional Restaurant
Steinenbühl, where you can enjoy a meal or light
snack outdoors in the fresh mountain air.

From Siggenthal-Würenlingen Railway Station, you
can take the suburban train S27 back to Baden.
