Norway’s second largest glacier. The Engenbreen<br />
extension is situated just 20 masl, which makes it the<br />
lowest lying glacier on continental Europe, and therefore<br />
easily accessbile.<br />
The shuttle boat from Holand takes 10 min. Transport<br />
by bus from the dock to the glacier. Tourist center:<br />
Full-service bar. You simply must taste our Arctic<br />
char or Svartis mutton. Local postal stamp.<br />
Glacial Tours. Do you want to walk atop the Svartisen<br />
Glacier? There are daily excursions up on the ice with tour<br />
leaders: *4-5 hour glacial tour NOK 800 *1-2 hour glacial<br />
tour NOK 400 Fishing Permit. Cabin rental. Outdoor camp. Here you can rent<br />
a Samí-style teepee facing the glacier. Excellent fishing conditions. Kayak rentals.<br />
