peninsula and the island of Leka. Leka<br />
is accessible via ferry from Gutvik<br />
(20 min. driving via Rv 17) or express<br />
boat from Namsos.<br />

you some beautiful outdoor<br />
experiences and enormous rock<br />
formations to explore. The red,<br />
serpentine mountains make the<br />
island one of Norway’s most<br />
unique and most beautiful<br />
to behold. On Leka you can<br />
experience preserved marshes,<br />
amazing geology with a specially<br />
designed geology path,<br />
salt and fresh-water fishing,<br />
the Herlaug ship graveyard<br />
and a wide variety of historical<br />
monuments. There are numerous<br />
marked walking paths on<br />
Leka and in Gutvik. Tour maps<br />
showing all of the walking<br />
paths may be purchased in local<br />
