■■■■ This adventure coastline – with the wild and beautiful
stretch of water known Folla – is the Kingdom of the Thousand Isles!
This is a world of contrasts – the wild ocean with a multitude of
islands, surrounded by white sandy beaches and enveloped in the
special light that so many come here to experience. Not much separates
the sea from the sky out here on the coast, just small and
strangely fertile strips of granite. The exception is the saga isle of
Leka, a characteristic reddish yellow serpentine rock rising from the
sea – a geological marvel with parallels to Cyprus and New Zealand.
