Tug test • Remove chock block • Buckle seat belts • Build air pressure to maximum (cut out) • Apply emergency brakes valve only – release all other brakes • For manual transmissions ○ Put transmission in low gear ○ Slowly release clutch ○ Gently tug against emergency brakes For automatic shift transmissions • Put transmission in “D” Drive • Gently tug against emergency brakes Apply column (trolley / hand ) brake valve ONLY – release all other brakes including emergency brakes
For manual shift transmission • Transmission in low gear • Slowly release clutch • Gently tug against column brakes • Release column (trolley / hand) brake For automatic transmissions • Put transmission in “D” Drive • Gently tug against column brakes • Release column (trolley / hand ) brake
