P AGE 4 SIR A G U MONTESSORI SCHOOL Our 100 students are learning Karate in our Siragu School. Students attended following tournament and won lot of Medals and awards 2 nd National invitation Karate Championship on 07.3.2010. Organized by Renshi Karate SHANMUGARAJA M.A D.N.Y.S at J.J Indoor Stadium Chennai. More than 750 Students participated in this tournament from various Schools and Organization Our 10 Kids got Shields, Medals and Certificates for different items 5 th STATE LEVEL INVITATION Karate championship organized by Rising Kempo Karate Kung-Fu & Yoga (Tamil Nadu Kenwa Shito –ryu Karate association Affiliated to All India Karate Do Federation held at A.J.S Nidhi. Mat. Hr. Sec. School Chennai Our 5 Students participated and got shield and certificate in different Category. First Enter Tournament – 2010 Organized by Kyokushin Karate Dojo affiliated to C.O. Ishen Fighting Arts international Federation held on Shree Hari Saradha Vidhyalaya Pakkam. Our 15 students Participated and 13 kids got pizes, shield, medals and certificates KARATE Training & Tournament s Tournament conducted by Founder and Chairman of KSOKAAI KARATE DO INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY SHI- HAN Deivasigamani held at J.J Stadium, Chennai. Out of 13 students Participated, 10 students got medals , Shields and Certificates. 3 rd National invitation karate championship - 2010 organized by organised by All India Kenwa Shito Rye Karate Association affiliated to All India Karate – Do Federation (Recog. By Govt. of India and I.O.A ) Asian Karate Federation, World Karate Federation Recog. Singapure Karate Do federation at Chennai – 53 Ambatttur O.T New Thiyagarajan Mahal Out of 20 Students Participated, 12 students got Medals, Shields and certificate for the various events in different categories.
P AGE 5 RELEASE OF MORAL SCIENCE BOOK BY COSMOPOLI- TAN CLUB On 23.12.2010 from Siragu two students went for Cosmopolitan Club for the release of a book on Moral Science. Totally Eight schools were invited for that and in that our Siragu is one. Games were conducted for the students and Magic show was conducted. Gifts and prizes were given to the students. CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION IN G.R.T HOTEL: On 23.12.2010 our students were invited to GRT for celebrating Christmas. Totally 42 students and 4 teachers went there. There Games and competitions were conducted for the children. It was a good chance to the students to show their talents. They gave gifts to all the children. MAHABALIPURAM ONE DAY EDUCATIONAL TOUR : On 19.12.2010 students IV std. to VIII Std. of Siragu went to Mahabalipuram, to know about the old sculptures, Inscriptions. To know about the rulings of Pallavas. The places visited were Dhakshinchitra, Tiger cave, Pancha Pandava Radhas, Otrai kal Radham, butter ball. Pallavas were one of the firsts to have built temples with rocks. The students were made to write about what they understood from the visit to Mahabalipuram. CULTURALS IN SPI TECHNOLOGIES On 17.12.2010 children went to SPI Technologies. They explained to the stu- HINDI Prachar Sabha Exams : From 2009 children started writing Hindi Exams conducted by Hindi Prachar Sabha. This is a Govt. Exam and the Certificate issued is Government recognized. Parichaya, Prathmic, Madhyama and Rashtrabasha are written by the students. Total number of students appeared for this exam in 2010 is 116. In this 44 students have secured good marks in Parichaya, 27 students have secured good marks in Prathmic and 13 have secured good marks in Madhyama. Now freshly 32 students are going to write Parichaya Exams. This exam is conducted in once in 6 months. dents about their system, Data processor, Video conference and the books they print for the college students. Our Students were made to interact with the staffs of SPI. Students performed various cultural programmes like dance, song, mime, villu pattu. Santaclaws gave many gifts to the children.
