It received grant-aid from the <strong>Heritage</strong><br />
<strong>Council</strong> towards the cost of protecting<br />
the windows with stainless-steel wireguards.<br />
<strong>The</strong> windows, by James Powell<br />
& Sons, had previously been unprotected.<br />

Abbeyleix Church of Ireland Church,<br />
Co. Laois was built by Thomas Wyatt<br />
and many of the windows are by Henry<br />
Holiday. It received grant-aid from<br />
the <strong>Heritage</strong> <strong>Council</strong> towards the cost<br />
of removing the secondary glazing<br />
and replacing it with stainless-steel<br />
wire-guards.
