I PREPARE
MY JOURNEYS
• Is my journey essential? Is a teleconference possible?
• Can I car share or use public transport?
• I check the route, use a suitable vehicle and I leave on time
• I check for charging points if I use an EV
• I check the condition of my vehicle, especially the tyres
• I put luggage and bags in the boot and leave the rear parcel shelf empty
• I check that child seats and child safety belts are suitable
• I take care over my driving position
I SCRUPULOUSLY RESPECT
THE RULES FOR GOOD DRIVING
• I fasten my seat belt and ensure that my passengers are wearing theirs at all
times
• I adapt my speed to the environment and speed limits, and comply with
safety distances
• I comply with legislation regarding the consumption of alcohol and drugs, as
well as the use of my mobile phone.
• I am well aware that it is forbidden for me to use my mobile phone or any
other means of communication that could distract me while driving

A RESPONSIBLE
DRIVER
• I take a break every two hours
• I always remain calm and courteous
• I help people in difficulties if they have broken down or had an accident, and
whatever type of vehicle I use, I adopt a driving behaviour that is respectful to
others
• I know the rules for ecodriving and use them
• I take responsibility if I commit an offence
