Meeting Minutes<br />
March 18, 2002<br />
Chairman Ronnell Sprenkle called the regular monthly meeting of the <strong>York</strong> <strong>Township</strong><br />
<strong>Water</strong> & <strong>Sewer</strong> <strong>Authority</strong> to order at 7:03 P.M. with the following in attendance:<br />

Minutes:<br />
On motion of Ms. Bosserman, seconded by Mr. Sprenkle, the minutes of February 18,<br />
2002 were approved. All were in favor.<br />
Visitors and Public Comments:<br />
None<br />
Public Works Report:<br />
Mr. Clark reported that while doing regular inspections on an interceptor that runs<br />
through Snyder’s Park, the sewer crew found that in the 2,474’ of main. There were 29<br />
areas that needed repair. There were also 2 areas that they could not inspect. Mr. Clark<br />
requested that the Board of Commissioners to fund replacing the entire line with PVC<br />
pipe. The board directed him to proceed with the bidding process. His plans are to<br />
advertise in April and award the bid at the May meeting.<br />
Solicitor’s Report:<br />
Mr. Jones reported that Raby Corporation has deposed Joseph Boldaz and is in the<br />
process of scheduling a deposition for Ray Hovis.<br />
The solicitor’s office is awaiting the signed agreement for the Royal Court Apartments<br />
R-O-W Resolution.<br />
New Plan Reviews:<br />
Kenneth Stoltzfus – Sage Hill (P2002-3-1) – The plan was presented by Lee Faircloth<br />
of Gordon L. Brown & Associates, Inc. The plan was returned to address the March 7,<br />
2002 engineer’s comments.
Plan Resubmittals:<br />
Chestnut Ridge – Phase II (P02-2-4) – The plan was presented by Lee Faircloth of<br />
Gordon L. Brown & Associates, Inc. On motion of Ms. Bosserman, seconded by Mr.<br />
Sprenkle, the plan was approved subject to the March 7, 2002 engineer’s comments. All<br />
were in favor.<br />
Engineer’s Report:<br />
Mr. Resh reported that the Springettsbury <strong>Township</strong> Intermunicipal Agreement will<br />
require another meeting to wrap up the draft agreement.<br />
The work has begun at Equine Meadows-Phase II to replace the main and laterals.<br />
The Chapter 94 report has been revised to address the potential restaurant in Cape Horn<br />
Square and to correct a mistake that was found.<br />
Rutter’s Inc. has offered the sewer line on their property for dedication to the authority.<br />
Mr. Clark will televise and retest the line before any action will take place.<br />
Requisitions and Checks:<br />
On motion of Ms. Bosserman, seconded by Mr. Sprenkle, checks 655-656 were<br />
authorized for payment. All were in favor.<br />

On motion of Ms. Bosserman, seconded by Mr. O’Donnell, the meeting was adjourned at<br />
7:50 P.M. All were in favor.<br />
