The new cassette design is based
on the same well proven technology.
Never the less, we are experiencing
that focus and demands on machine
downtime and life time costs are
more actual than ever.
The new Thune TM Cassette Guide
design has the same geometry to
ensure optimal exchangeability.
All Cassette Guides are available in
Nodular Cast Iron & Stainless Steel.
Wear parts such as rubber
diaphragms, needle bearings are the
same. We have chosen to equip all
new cassette guides with hardened
exchangeable guide ways.
Improvements
Exchangeable hardened guide rails
makes it possible to handle higher
horizontal loads.
They also contribute to reduce wear
ensuring a better performace over
time.
Guide roll can remain in place
during maintenance work.
Cassette design enables quick and
simple wear part replacement.

Principle of guiding
Guiding of fabric is based on that the fabric will always leave
a roll perpendicular to its rotational axis. This dictates the
direction in which direction the fabric travels.
