Advocate<br />

A person who works to make sure you get the right care.<br />

A local area or neighborhood and the people who live in the area.<br />

Complaint<br />

Telling or writing us to say that you are not satisfied with services.<br />

Customer Services<br />

The department of <strong>Community</strong> <strong>Care</strong> that helps you get information<br />

about services and answer questions about rules or benefits.<br />

Customer Services also takes complaints over the phone.<br />

Emergency<br />

A health problem or situation that cannot wait. When treatment is<br />

needed right away, call 911 or go to an emergency room.<br />

Evaluation<br />

Tests and studies that help a doctor or psychologist find out what is<br />

going on and what treatment will be best.<br />

Grievance<br />

Telling or writing that you do not agree with a denial of a covered<br />

service or change in a covered service.<br />
