<strong>Health</strong>Choices<br />
People in Pennsylvania who have Medical Assistance for their health<br />
care needs are members (also referred to as "customers") of a<br />
program called <strong>Health</strong>Choices. The mental health services and drug<br />
and alcohol services that are offered to you through <strong>Health</strong>Choices<br />
are called "behavioral health care" services and are managed by<br />
<strong>Community</strong> <strong>Care</strong> <strong>Behavioral</strong> <strong>Health</strong> Organization (<strong>Community</strong> <strong>Care</strong>).<br />
What is <strong>Community</strong> <strong>Care</strong>?<br />
<strong>Community</strong> <strong>Care</strong> is a non-profit company that answers your questions,<br />
and your service provider's questions, and helps you find a service<br />
provider. <strong>Community</strong> <strong>Care</strong> works to make sure that you can find a<br />
provider near you and that you have a choice of providers. <strong>Community</strong><br />
<strong>Care</strong> makes sure that you are receiving the kind of services that<br />
you need and that the services are covered under <strong>Health</strong>Choices.<br />
<strong>Community</strong> <strong>Care</strong> pays your provider's bills.<br />
<strong>Community</strong> <strong>Care</strong> may not cover all of your health care expenses. Read<br />
your handbook carefully to determine which health care services are<br />
covered. Call <strong>Community</strong> <strong>Care</strong> at 1-800-553-7499 if you have questions<br />
