Test Prep English Language Arts Ma<strong>the</strong>matics<br />

KIDS COLLEGE<br />

Reading & Writing (grades 1 & 2)<br />

This course will give students <strong>the</strong> foundation <strong>to</strong> begin writing as a source <strong>of</strong> expression, reflection<br />

and personal development. They will fur<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong>ir appreciation <strong>of</strong> literature and learn <strong>to</strong><br />

master <strong>the</strong>ir vocabulary and comprehension skills. Curriculum will be according <strong>to</strong> each grade.<br />

CLX-235 SA: 10 sessions (12.5 hours) / $160 / 9-10:15am<br />

Ma<strong>the</strong>matics (grades 1 & 2)<br />

Students will be encouraged <strong>to</strong> approach math in a fun and interactive way while streng<strong>the</strong>ning<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir ma<strong>the</strong>matics and problem solving skills, by working with numbers, operations,<br />

money. Curriculum will be according <strong>to</strong> each grade.<br />

CLX-222 SA: 10 sessions (12.5 hours) / $160 / 10:25-11:40am<br />

Painting Around <strong>the</strong> World (grades K-2)<br />

Budding artists can begin <strong>to</strong> learn how <strong>to</strong> be artistic and paint while exploring<br />

<strong>the</strong> world. Bring your imagination! How tall is <strong>the</strong> Disney castle? How many colors<br />

can you paint from your monster friends? Where do penguins live? Bring a "painting<br />

shirt" <strong>to</strong> cover arms and body for painting.<br />

CLX-113 SP-Y: 10 sessions (10 hours) / $140 / noon-1pm<br />
