Beginning with the very best hardwoods, selected and
kiln-dried on our premises, we use time-honored
processes to create some of the world’s best wood
seating: steam bending, the most durable frame
construction techniques, and our renowned long-life
finish. Spence has a wealth of flushed joints that are
painstakingly sanded by hand to achieve the perfect fit and
finish. A range of options include the striking slat back, a
fully upholstered back, a three-quarter upholstered back,
and a half-upholstered back with two wood slats. Three
wood species – Cherry, Maple and Oak – are available in
a selection of standard finishes or in custom stains.
