the Austin Board of REALTORS ® . Your membership will
provide you with valuable resources to help you promote
your business to real estate professionals.
What is an Affiliate Member?
◆ Affiliate members are individuals who, while not
engaged in the real estate profession as defined in Article
IV, Section 1 (a) and (b) of the Austin Board of REAL-
TORS ® Bylaws, have interests in real estate related information
and are in sympathy with the objectives of this
Board.
◆ An affiliate member cannot hold an active real estate
license.
Objectives
◆ To promote, advance and protect the general interest
of real estate ownership by uniting those engaged in real
estate, affiliated professions and the owners of real property.
◆ To promote and maintain high standards of conduct in
the transaction of real estate business.
◆ To encourage the right of real property ownership and
guard against unjust taxation and unjust governmental
regulations.
◆ To assist in all activities designed to make Austin a
better place in which to live; to cooperate with other
organizations interested in the general advancement of
the City’s life and growth.

◆ Individual affiliate status provides membership in the
Austin Board of REALTORS ® only.

Board of REALTORS ® in person with payment.

Applications received after 2:00 p.m. will be processed within 48 hours.
MEMBERSHIP AND FEES
ABoR Membership: (Please make your check payable to Austin Board of REALTORS ® .)
Cost for affiliate membership is $167.00 annually.
Individuals seeking to apply at the $25 annual individual membership rate must be associated with a
company that already holds ABoR membership. If an individual is not associated with such a company,
the individual or company must apply for corporate membership at the $167 annual rate.
