L. 4. <strong>The</strong> phrase ]''!&*1DD belongs to verse 11 rather than to verse 12. We are<br />

dealing again, just as at the beginning <strong>of</strong> verse 11, with four 'guides' who preside over the four<br />

supplementary days (31/in, 31/VI, 31/IX and 3i/XII <strong>of</strong> the year composed <strong>of</strong> 364 days) and<br />

who in turn separate the four seasons <strong>of</strong> the year.<br />
