those tongues <strong>of</strong> fire, until] I drew near to a great house [built with hailstones;<br />

and the walls <strong>of</strong> this house were like stone slabs, and all <strong>of</strong> them were<br />

(made) <strong>of</strong> snow, and the] floor [was built] <strong>of</strong> snow. ^^[And the ceiling was<br />

like lightning-flashes and like thunders; and among them fiery cherubim,<br />

and their heaven was <strong>of</strong> water. ^^And a burning fire surrounded] all their<br />

walls [all around them, and the gates were <strong>of</strong> burning fire. ^^And I entered<br />

into that house which was hot like fire, and cold as] snow; and [there was]<br />

no [pleasure <strong>of</strong> life in it; and behold, fear covered me and trembling seized<br />

me. ^^And I was shaken and] trembling and I fell [on my face; and it was<br />

shown to me in my vision. ^^And behold I saw another door which opened<br />

before me, and another house which] was greater than this, and all <strong>of</strong> it<br />

[was built with tongues <strong>of</strong> fire. ^^And all <strong>of</strong> it far surpassed (the other) in<br />

splendour and glory and majesty that] I am unable to describe to you [its<br />

splendour and majesty. ^^And its floor was <strong>of</strong> fire and its upper part was <strong>of</strong><br />

thunders and lightning-flashes, and its ceiling was <strong>of</strong> burning fire. ^^And it<br />

was shown to me and I saw in it a l<strong>of</strong>ty throne^ and its appearance]<br />
