The price for the combined French, UK and USA tour on application.
Included in the price are:
• Economy-class air travel from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to Paris and
flights to London returning from Manchester. Flights from the east coast of
Australia to the USA and domestic flights throughout the USA as listed in the
itinerary. Please call for other departure cities.
• Accommodation in carefully selected first and moderate first-class, centrally
located hotels with private facilities. Hotel taxes and service charges.
• Breakfast daily, welcome and farewell dinners as listed in the itinerary
(indicated by D).
• Travel in a first-class coach.
• Sightseeing and general entrance fees as detailed in the itinerary.
• Tour leadership by Michelle Marvig as detailed in the itinerary.
• The services of a Travelrite International tour manager.
Not included in the price are:
• Passport and visa fees.
• Travel Insurance.
• Meals and drinks not specified in the itinerary.
• Sightseeing and general expenses not specified in the itinerary.
• Items of a personal nature.
• Additional travel arrangements not in the tour itinerary will be
quoted for separately.
• Air taxes, government and air fuel surcharges will be added to your account.
General information and booking conditions
International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour
participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
Tour costs: The tour costs are based on airfare, general
transport, and accommodation costs and foreign exchange
rate at 20 November 2009. No alterations to costings will
be made within 60 days of departure from Australia.
Deposit and payment: A non-refundable deposit of $500 per
passenger is required at the time of booking. Full payment will be
required 64 days before departure.
Cancellations: Cancellations 64 days or less from the date
of departure will result in the loss of all monies paid. Travel
insurance is recommended to cover the costs of cancellation fees
due to illness, death in family, etc.
Minimum Tour Numbers: The tour has been costed on the basis
of a minimum of 20 passengers having booked 64 days prior to
departure. Payment by Visa and Mastercard will incur a one
percent administration fee and AMEX and Diners a three percent
fee. Travelrite reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full
refund of all monies paid or offer arrangements to proceed with
the tour at a modified cost. Travelrite International reserves the
right to change advertised entrances if necessary for the smooth
operation of the tour.
Refunds: The tour is based on arrangements which do not
allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation,
meals, airfare or other services not utilised after the tour has
commenced.
Travel documents: All passengers will require a valid passport.
Visas are not required for France or UK. Visas for the USA are
issued online for Australian passport holders. See Michelle for
details. If you hold another passport please check with Travelrite
International.
Baggage: All passengers qualify for twenty kilos of luggage to
Europe two pieces of luggage is allowed on flights to USA. One piece
of luggage is allowed in the coach for both tours.
Changes to the tour itinerary: Travelrite International reserves
the right to make changes to the itinerary to fit in with operational
requirements. Any change to the itinerary will be replaced with
similar arrangements with an equal or greater value.
Responsibilities: Travelrite International Pty Ltd. (Licence
number 30858) is the tour organiser. Travelrite acts only as
agents in the making of arrangements with carriers, hoteliers
and others for the tour. As a result we cannot accept liability for
any act or omission whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise
of those carriers, hoteliers or other persons providing services in
connection with the tour over whom we have no direct or exclusive
control. We do not accept responsibility for any injury, damage,
loss, delay, change of schedule or any other events which are
beyond our direct control, such as, but not limited to, war, flood,
fire, civil disturbance, acts of god, acts of Government, terrorism
or any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or
equipment, or industrial action. The passage contract in use by
the carriers concerned shall constitute the sole contract between
the transportation companies or firms and the purchasers of these
tours and the passengers. Baggage is at own risk throughout the
tour. The contract shall be construed in accordance with the laws
of the State of Victoria.
