Natural raw materials such as high-grade titanium steel, real glass and water are 

processed in the production of our washbasins, shower areas, shower trays and 

baths. A special process creates the BETTEGLAZE ® with its unique surface quality. 

Natural 

origin 

The reason for this is the small layer thickness: The thinner the enamel surface 

is, the less sensitive it is. The effect is comparable with the difference between 

a glass rod and a glass fibre: A rod breaks extremely easily, by contrast, a glass 

fibre is flexible and pliable. Our BETTEGLAZE ® is therefore more durable than 

marble, plastic or iron and just as immaculate in 30 years’ time as on the first day - 

guaranteed. At the same time, the light is reflected very evenly owing to the plane 

surface. 

We also place this high quality demand on the materials of our supplementary 

products, such as shower screens, furniture modules and mirrors. With surfaces 

of real glass and real wood veneer, they fit optimally into our range in terms of both 

function and quality.

for our BETTEBowL washbasin series: the plane and straightlined 

design shows off the brilliant surface of BETTEGLAZE ® in the best 

possible light; the combination of angled and flowing elements ensures 

maximum convenience of use. As a free-standing monolith, the washbasin 

becomes the focal point in the bathroom.

Powerful ensemble 

Our support plates with real wood veneer offer our mounted and fitted washbasins the 

appropriate setting. The natural surface in various wood styles rounds off the strong 

material features of the steel/enamel washbasins. Three alternatives are available for 

installation: invisible with a T-support, with a visible, chromium-plated L-support or – 

particularly stylish – with an O-support which serves at the same time as a towel rail. 

Our illuminated mirrors show the washing area in the optimum light. Support plates and

three years. The high quality of the elegant steel/enamel surface, its award-winning design 

and sophisticated installation system set unprecedented benchmarks. 

The absolute flush-to-floor installation without any trip hazard is convenient and comfortable 

for people of every age class. The optional coating with BETTEANTI-SLIP provides additional 

safety when standing. And you are also reliably protected against water damage. In contrast 

to tiled showers, BETTEFLOOR covers the entire area. Therefore, no water can penetrate 

under the shower area, for example through porous joints.

matt-finish shades harmonising with current trends in tiles and floor coverings, and 

sanitary colours. The shower area integrated flush into the flooring gives the bathroom 

a spacious feel. 

Bettefloor also exhibits top-calibre quality in the details. For example: at all four 

corners, as the corners are not round but actually angular. They fit excellently into the 

clear-cut lines dictated by the tiles and permit a uniform and narrow joint pattern.

BETTEENTRY is a spacious and equally elegant shower solution. The entrance with a 

high-grade wood insert already indicates maximum comfort. But the innovation here 

is the virtually invisible outlet. A channel in the shower area guides the water along 

the side into the entry zone. Here, it drains away, invisible to the user – concealed 

under the insert optionally made of light jatoba or dark ash. A solution that cannot be 

matched in terms of elegance and finesse. The real glass screens are available for 

niche and corner installation.

Magnetism is a complex physical phenomenon. We simply use it to obtain optimum 

splash protection for our shower screens. The swing-type elements of the 

BETTESHOWER SCREENS are provided with a magnetic strip on the bottom edge 

which presses the seal onto the edge of the premium-quality steel/enamel BETTEBATHS 

and SHOWER TRAYS by means of a raising and lowering mechanism. In this way an 

unobtrusive device prevents splashing water from escaping. BETTESHOWER SCREENS 

comply with the EN 144328 standard in terms of reliable product quality. 

BETTESHOWER SCREENS excel through their easy cleaning features. For example, all the 

fittings and horizontal seals are flush with the inside of the glass surface and the handle can 

also be sunk flush on the inside. After a shower, water and dirt can be easily removed from 

the glass – without any disruptive elements. The use of profiles has been limited to the basic 

essentials. The ease of cleaning is supported by the BETTEREAL GLASS PLUS coating.

Our highlight – in the literal sense of the word – is a whirlsystem with LED coloured 

spotlights which conjure up a sensually exciting colourful mood for a relaxing massage 

bath. The colour ambiance changes in smooth transition from green to blue, 

then violet and then red. If you particularly like a certain colour mood, you can keep 

it by pressing a button. You can also integrate the coloured spotlights into the bath 

without a whirlsystem.

the answer to silicone 

BETTEANTI-SLIP provides even more safety when standing in the shower. A quartz/ 

sand mixture can be fired onto the enamelled surface of all baths and shower trays. 

This surface provides a safe area to stand and, at the same time, does not diminish 

the pleasant feel of the surface texture. And the visual effect and colours are retained. 

White baths are given a white coating. BETTEANTI-SLIP is available in a transparent 

version for the coloured shower areas. 

In conjunction with our special BETTEANTI-SLIP entire surface, our 3,5 cm flat shower 

trays with their dimensions 120 x 120 cm und 150 x 150 cm, and the BETTEFLOOR 

comply with the requirements of E-DIN 18030:2006. 

Silicone is superfluous between the bath edge and the wall as the BETTEUPSTAND 

offers an aesthetic, hygienically sound and long-lasting solution. Thus mouldy and 

torn silicone joints are a thing of the past. Germs have no chance to grow. 

The upstand is a 30 mm high enamelled upturn of the bath edge. On installation, this 

upstand extends under the tiles by 10 mm. This guarantees a hygienic finish to the 

wall.

The water level in the bath rises as if fed from an underground spring. Our baths with 

an outlet of 90 mm can optionally be fitted with the BetteSPrING TaP. Your advantage: 

Filling the bath is particularly convenient and quiet, merely 9 db(A) compared 

with the 21 db(A) of conventional bath taps. 

The BetteSTarleT line of baths and the BetteoCeaN models can be delivered 

without a visible overflow. The trick: this technology raises the water level by 4 cm 

compared with a bath with an overflow hole. Another advantage is the closed steel/ 

enamel surface. It provides an immaculate appearance and is particularly easy to 

clean. One particular design element is the operating button on the edge of the bath.

Our baths and washbasins can be provided with individual drillings to suit the taps 

and installation situation you want. This creates additional design latitude. And you 

can also adapt our baths to satisfy your needs and wishes. Bette can already provide 

the necessary drillings during production for the installation of taps on the bath edge 

and washbasins. 

BETTEGRIPS in many common bathroom surface finishes help you to get in and out 

the bath safely. The bath can optionally be fitted with them.

BetteINSTALLATION SYSTEM FLUSH-TO-FLOOR 

The height-adjustable feet can be screwed 

into the frame and infinitely adjusted from 

65 to 180 cm for maximum flexibility. 

The frame is positioned at the desired 

location. The drainage pipe is already 

prepared, too. 

During alignment, the tiling aids help to 

mark the later upper edge. The frame 

is secured in place and the casing aids 

provided are installed. This produces a 

placeholder with millimetre precision as 

the screed can be laid right up to the 

edge. Trouble with inaccurate recesses 

is a thing of the past.

from the ground up 

The BETTEINSTALLATION SYSTEM FLUSH-TO-FLOOR precisely matches the floor level of 

the BETTEFLOOR shower area and the 3,5 cm deep BETTESHOWER TRAYS. Installation 

is quick, easy and absolutely safe. 

With a minimum installation height of 65 mm for drainage through a floor cavity and 

110 mm with a standardised drain, the installation system is the ideal solution for flush-tofloor 

installation, also for the refurbishment of old buildings and fiddly renovation work. 

BETTEFLOOR in conjunction with the BETTEINSTALLATION SYSTEM FLUSH-TO-FLOOR 

complies with the requirements placed on sound insulation in structural engineering in 

accordance with DIN 4109. Tested and confirmed by the Fraunhofer Institute. 

The sealing fleece is glued to the frame, 

the seal with the building structure is 

provided with the barrier coating. The PE 

sealing strip is additionally installed on 

the sealing fleece around the frame. 

The tiling aids are inserted where required 

and the floor and walls are tiled. 

The tiling aids permit the tile layer to 

work with pinpoint accuracy. The shower 

area does not even need to be installed 

for this purpose. 

Finally, the shower area is inserted 

into the frame and the outlet fitting 

completely connected. The joints are 

provided with an elastic sealant. This 

makes the entire structure permanently 

accessible for inspection work. 

Note: 

The installation frame is 5 mm larger all 

around than the shower area. The tiling 

aids make alignment with the wall easier. 

They simulate the later outer edge of the 

shower area. The necessary distance to 

the plastered wall is derived from the tile 

thickness + tile adhesive. 

For installation in wooden floors, we recommend 

the special BETTESEALING SYSTEM 

for wooden floors.

The waste fitting specially developed for BETTEFLOOR with a draining capacity of 

0.85 l/sec (in UK 0.70 l/sec) and a standard head permits individual height compensation 

for floor structures from 110 to 180 mm. If a vertical waste fitting is used for draining 

through a floor cavity, the installation height is reduced to a minimum of 65 mm. 

BETTEFLOOR can also be integrated into wooden floor structures without any problems. 

Simply and safely in only a few steps – ideal for modernization of older buildings. 

For flush-to-floor installation with the BETTEFOOT-SYSTEM we have also developed a 

reliable sealing system which guarantees absolutely water-tight installation. It consists 

of prefabricated single elements which can be individually combined depending on the 

installation method chosen. 

Installation is easy and safe: The corner elements are glued on after installation of the 

BETTEFOOT-SYSTEM and positioning of the outlet. After the film has been glued on, 

the shower tray is inserted and connected to the outlet. The film is glued to the screed 

and the bathroom tiled as normal. The gap between the tiles and the tray is sealed with 

silicone.

Firmly anchored 

The BETTEFOOT-SYSTEM guarantees quick, safe and cost-effective height compensation 

in the installation of shower trays. For this purpose a frame is clamped under 

the tray edge into which the height-adjustable feet are screwed. In this way the load is 

distributed over the entire frame and not just at certain points. 

It is no longer necessary to underpin the shower tray. 

BETTESOUND INSULATION – available in a set – insulates sound from the walls, floor 

and masonry. Installation in accordance with DIN 4109/A1 – Sound insulation in structural 

engineering. 

The bath or shower tray is firmly secured to the wall with the BETTEWALL BRACKET 

– naturally with sound insulation. One set contains the three anchors required for 

optimum installation.
