Whānau Ora Integrated Contracts

An integrated contract is a single,
integrated, outcomes-focused, three
year contract developed for individual
community, iwi and Māori service
providers who have multiple contracts
with Government agencies.

Integrated contracts enable
services funded by more than one
agency to be integrated into a
single contract t that t is outcomesbased
and looks at delivering
holistic services to a specific group
or targeted population. p

The benefits of integrated contracting:
• Providers spend more time on service
development and improve their
capacity to tailor services to better
meet client needs
• Changes the culture of contracting to a
more collaborative, outcomes-focused
process
• Providers can focus on a more holistic
service, with potential to review service
delivery and operate more effectively.
