One area to complete intakes/ assessments 2. Case Management Services are mandatory (over past few months, MCBHC has not been as stringent in this area) 3. Case Management Summary/Lisa Marshall Comments 4. Engagement Meetings • Entry meeting to begin services • Required attendance: • Consumer • Therapist • Program Coordinator • Case Manager • MISA Assessor • Others that are welcome to attend: • Significant Other • Probation & Parole • Family, etc. What has worked (continued) 5. Actively coordinating MISA services with the criminal justice system since it was identified after year one that a large percentage of MISA consumers were forensic consumers 6. Re-engagement Meetings • Meetings held for consumers who aren’t compliant to reassess circumstances, resolve barriers, etc. 7. Consumers appear to benefit from all services in one central location 8. The MCBHC pilot has established a third system of care that provides all levels of care within that system. What has not worked for the Mercer County MISA Pilot Program 1. Transportation • It is offered but not for all consumers (i.e. outpatient level of care) 2. Support Group • After several attempts were made to start a dual support group, it has not succeeded. 3. Follow-up • It has been very difficult to contact consumers in the period of 6 months to 12 months after being discharged. 2
