STEP 1 

Select the left side panel 

(1). 

Insert six dowels (A) 

into the ends of the side 

panel. 

You may need to use a 

light hammer to fully 

insert the dowels.

Screw two cam studs (B) 

into the side panel using a 

cross head screwdriver.

STEP 3 

The hanger brackets 

can be fitted in two 

different height positions 

depending on the position 

of the shelf. 

The wardrobe in these 

instructions will be built 

as sample A. 

If you wish to build your 

wardrobe the same as 

sample B the follow the 

instructions but fit the 

hanger brackets in the top 

position and shelf studs 

in one of the three lower 

positions.

STEP 4 

Attach one of the hanger 

cups (C) to the side panel 

using two long screws 

(D) and a cross head 

screwdriver.

Screw two of the shelf 

studs (E) into the side 

panel using a cross head 

screwdriver.

Important: The hinge 

plates can be fitted on 

either the left or right 

side panel depending on 

which way you want the 

door to open on. These 

instructions will show the 

door fitted on the left of 

the wardrobe. 

Screw the three hinge 

plates (F) to the side 

panel using a cross head 

screwdriver. 

Ensure that the hinge 

plate are the correct way 

round, see diagram.

STEP 7 

Select the right side 

panel (2) and attach the 

dowels, cams, shelf studs 

and hanger brackets as 

you did for the left side 

panel. 

There are no hinge plates 

to fit on the right side 

panel.

Insert four dowels (A) 

into the underside of the 

feet (3). 

Important: Ensure the 

dowels are not fitted into 

the holes that go all the 

way through the feet.

STEP 9 

Slot the feet (3) onto the 

underside of the base (4). 

Fasten the feet to the 

base with the four 

feet bolts (G) and a 

screwdriver.

Slot the lugs on the 

underside of the four 

foot pads (H) into the 

holes in the feet as 

shown in the diagram. 

You may need to use a 

light hammer to fit the 

pads.

Turn the base over and 

screw four cam studs (B) 

into holes as shown in the 

diagram.

Insert six dowels (A) into 

the sides of the mid-base 

(5).

Attach one of the door 

stops (I) to the top of the 

mid-base using two short 

screws (J) and a cross 

head screwdriver. 

Important: If the hinge 

plates have been fitted 

on the left side panel fit 

the door stop on the right 

side of the mid-base. If 

the hinge plates are on 

the right side panel fit the 

hinge plates on the left 

side of the mid-base.

Select the top (6) and 

screw four cam studs 

(B) in with a cross head 

screwdriver.

Attach the remaining door 

stop (I) to the top using 

two short screws (J) and 

a cross head screwdriver. 

Important: If the hinge 

plates have been fitted 

on the left side panel 

fit the door stop on the 

right side of the top. If 

the hinge plates are on 

the right side panel fit the 

hinge plates on the left 

side of the top.

STEP 16 

Turn the top over and 

attach the fall strap. 

Slot the fall strap screw 

(K) through the washer 

(L). Slot the screw 

through the end of the 

fall strap (M) and tighten 

into the top with a cross

Select the shelf (7) and 

slot the four shelf inserts 

(N) into the holes along 

the sides. 

You may need to gently 

tap the inserts into the 

holes with a hammer.

Slot the mid-base (5) 

onto the left side panel 

(1). 

Insert two carcass 

cams (O) into the holes 

along the edge of the 

mid base as shown and 

turn clockwise with a 

screwdriver to tighten.

With the help of another 

person, turn the side and 

mid-base over onto there 

backs. 

Slot the right side panel 

(2) onto the mid-base and 

fasten in place with two 

carcass cams (O).

Slot the assembled top 

(6) onto the end of the 

wardrobe. 

Slot four carcass cams (O) 

into the large holes on the 

insides of the side panels. 

Tighten the cams by 

turning them clockwise.

Slot the assembled 

bottom (4) onto the other 

end of the wardrobe. 

Slot four carcass cams (O) 

into the large holes on the 

insides of the side panels. 

Tighten the cams by 

turning them clockwise.

Screw the two carcass 

runners (P) to the side 

panels using six euro 

screws (Q) and a cross

With the help of another 

person, lay the wardrobe 

down on its front. 

Slot the back panel (8) 

into the recesses in the 

sides, base and top. 

Fasten the back panel 

in place using the thirty 

tacks (R) and a light 

hammer.

Slot the hanger rail (S) 

into the hanger cups 

on the inside of the 

wardrobe. 

Slot the shelf (7) into 

the wardrobe above the 

shelf studs. Align the 

shelf inserts with the 

shelf studs and push 

downwards to lock into 

position.

Screw four cam studs 

(B) into the drawer front 

(9) using a cross head 

screwdriver. 

Fasten the handle (T) 

to the drawer front 

using two handle screws 

(U) and a cross head 

screwdriver.

into the ends of the 

left (10) and right (11) 

drawers sides. 

Attach the two drawer 

runners (V) to the 

bottoms of the drawer 

sides using six short 

screws (J) and a cross

Slot the drawer sides 

onto drawer front as 

shown. 

Insert four drawer cams 

(W) into the holes in the 

inside of the drawer sides. 

Turn the cams clockwise 

with a screwdriver.

Slot the drawer base (11) 

into the grooves in the 

drawer sides. 

Push the base down into 

the groove in the drawer 

front.

Slot the drawer back 

(13) onto the assembled 

sections of the drawer 

ensuring the drawer base 

is slotted into the recess. 

Fasten the drawer back to 

the drawer side with four 

drawer screws (X) and a 

cross head screwdriver.

Slot the three hinge arms 

(Y) into the holes along 

the edge of the door (14). 

Fasten them in place 

using six long screws 

(D) and a cross head 

screwdriver.

Attach the remaining 

handle (T) to the door 

using two handle screws 

(U) and a cross head 

screwdriver. 

STEP 32 

Attach the door (14) to 

the wardrobe. 

Loosen screw A on the 

hinge plates and slide 

the slot in the end of the 

hinge arm under the head 

of the screw A on the 

hinge plate. 

Tip: Fit the top hinge first 

and work down. 

Note: Slide all of the 

hinge arms onto the hinge 

plates before tightening 

screw A. Now gently 

close the doors.

STEP 33 

Slot the runners on the 

drawer onto the carcass 

runners inside the 

wardrobe and push the 

drawer into the wardrobe. 

STEP 34 

The wardrobe is now fully 

assembled. 

Check that all of the 

fitting are fully tightened 

before moving the 

wardrobe to its final 

position.

step 35 

The wall strap is only 

intended to be used with the 

Mamas and Papas product 

that it is supplied with. 

Never attempt to modify or 

change the wall attachment 

strap in any way. Never 

use any other fittings for 

attaching the strap to 

your furniture than those 

supplied. 

Never use the screw 

provided to attach the 

strap to the wall. No wall 

attachment fittings are 

supplied. This is because 

the type of fittings required 

to attach the strap to the 

chosen wall is determined 

by the walls composition. If 

you are in any doubt about 

the correct type of fittings to 

use, consult a professional 

before attempting to attach 

the strap to the wall. 

The wall strap must not be 

used to replace any other 

fitting supplied with your 

piece of furniture. 

Furniture falling over is 

generally due to the surface 

the furniture is placed on. A 

warped floor or wall-to-wall 

carpeting will enable the 

furniture to rock, so greatly 

increasing the potential for 

the furniture to fall. If the 

furniture is placed on a flat 

level wood or tiled floor the 

risk is reduced, but we still 

recommend the wall strap is 

fitted.

Adjusting the gap 

between the door and 

carcass. 

Loosen screw ‘A’, turn 

screw ‘B’ clockwise or 

anti-clockwise until the 

gap between the door 

and carcass is equal then 

tighten screw ‘A’.

Adjusting the height of 

the door. 

Loosen screws ‘C’ then 

slide the hinge plate up 

or down until the door is 

centred then tighten the 

screws. 

Adjusting the angle of 

the door. 

Loosen screw ‘A’ and 

slide the hinge arm either 

forwards or backwards 

until the door is vertical 

then tighten screw ‘A’.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE & maintenance 

• WARNING: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED. The safety of your child is your 

responsibility. 

• Before use, ensure the wardrobe is on a stable, level surface. 

• Do not allow children to climb on the wardrobe. 

• Never use the wardrobe if any parts are broken or missing. 

• Never pivot or drag the wardrobe on its plinth, the wardrobe must always be lifted by at 

least two people when moved. 

• Do not place the wardrobe in the near vicinity of open fires or other sources of strong 

heat, such as electric or gas fires. 

• Always leave the wardrobe clean and dry. Wipe away any spillage straight away. The 

wardrobe can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive, bleach or strong 

detergents. 

• Check regularly that all fittings and screws are correctly tightened and are not 

damaged. Loose screws can pinch parts of the body and clothing resulting in the risk of 

strangulation.
