What is vital for the results of the study is the homogenity of the research
subjects. As highlighted in Table 2., the interactants belong to the same age
group (21-25 years old) and share a similar social background, which allowed to
establish a set of gender-linked linguistic practices characteristic of a specific
group. Moreover, all the contributors were previously acquainted with each
other, which decreased the potential social distance.
