Local Media Parking We are able to offer parking for local media in Lot 15. Once at the parking area, an exclusive media shuttle will run continuously to bring media from the local parking lot to within walking distance of the media center. Media Center The media center will be located adjacent to the practice range at the intersection of Stevenson Drive and Ondulato Road. 2010 Conditions of Play Entries Open to any professional, and to amateurs with USGA Handicap Indexes not exceeding 1.4. Entries close April 28. Starting Field 156 players Schedule of Play • Thursday, June 17 — First round (18 holes) • Friday, June 18 — Second round (18 holes) After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the low 60 scorers and any ties, and any player within 10 strokes of the leader. • Saturday, June 19 — Third round (18 holes) • Sunday, June 20 — Fourth round (18 holes) Playoff In case of a tie after 72 holes, an 18-hole playoff will be held on Monday, June 21. If this playoff results in a tie, the tied players will immediately continue to play off hole by hole until the winner is determined. Local Qualifying 18 holes stroke play, scheduled at 111 sites, from May 7-20. Exemptions from Local Qualifying • All former winners of the U.S. Open Championship • From the 2009 U.S. Open Championship, those returning scores for 72 holes • Winners of the U.S. Senior Open Championship the last five years (2005-2009) • All former winners of the U.S. Amateur Championship and the runners-up in 2007 and 2008 (must be an amateur) • Winner of the 2009 U.S. Amateur Championship (must have turned professional) • Quarterfinalists from the 2009 U.S. Amateur Championship (must be an amateur) • From the U.S. Amateur Public Links, U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Mid-Amateur Championships, the winners the last three years (2007-2009) and the runners-up from 2009 (must be an amateur) • Winner of the 2009 USGA Senior Amateur Championship (must be an amateur) • Playing members of the 2007 and 2009 USA and Great Britain and Ireland Walker Cup and the 2006 and 2008 USA Men’s World Amateur Teams (must be an amateur) • Low eight individual finishers and ties from the 2008 Men’s World Amateur Team Championship (must be an amateur) •Playing members of the 2010 USA Men’s Copa de las Americas Team
