Camilty Wind Farm Receptor Effect Development Phase Sensitivity/ Importance of Receptor Magnitude of Change Level of Effect (and Significance) Prior to Mitigation Mitigation Enhancement Level of Effect (and Significance) after Mitigation Nature of Effect Tourism Tourist Accomodation (Visitor Numbers). Operational phase. Low: There are a very few tourism accommodation providers in close proximity of the proposed wind farm for the proposal to potentially result in a detectable change to visitor numbers and the economy of the area in general. Small: The number of people who feel strongly enough about wind farms that it would influence their holiday destination is likely to be very small. Slight (not significant) - - Slight (not significant) Negative: Some visitors may be deterred by visual effects. Recreation and outdoor access Outdoor Access (on site). Construction and decommissiong phases. Low: The site is currently not considered to be well used for public access. Small: Loss of access would only be for a short temporary period and already commonly occurs during forestry harvesting and restocking operations. Slight / negligible (not significant) Where possible a suitable diversion would be put in place along with the display of signage at each end of the track where the track is diverted. - Slight / negligible (not significant) Negative: Loss of public access on site.
