NATS has been consulted throughout the project
design process – the site is within the line of sight
of radar at Edinburgh Airport and Kincardine
Airport (Lowther Hill).
A report providing technical
evidence for an aviation solution
is provided to accompany the
planning application. This is not
addressed as part of the EIA.
2.2.10 In addition to scoping, throughout the assessment process the relevant consultees have been
consulted by those conducting the relevant aspects of the EIA. Further consultation has
been undertaken by PfR as detailed in the Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) Report
submitted in support of the application for planning permission. A key part of that
consultation has been meetings held with relevant authorities and the hosting of public events
to gauge opinion. The following lists the key meetings and events:
