associated with peaks within Upper Tweeddale, the Tinto Hills and the southern fringes of the
Pentland hills. There would also be some very limited areas of ZTV at the peaks of the
Pentland Hills and hills within the city of Edinburgh.
FMC Technologies, Mossmoran and Little Raith Wind Farms
9.9.21 There would be a small amount of overlap between the ZTV for proposed wind farm and the
ZTV’s for three schemes to the north of the site within Fife. Land on the north facing slopes of
the Pentland Hills and the hill fringes in the vicinity of the site, the plains around Livingston
and the landscape of Fife.
9.9.22 Four further wind farms, which are at the application stage, would have similar cumulative
ZTV’s to the three wind farms described above.
Lochhead and Extension, Yonderton, Auchnotroch Farm, Site North of Rosti Factory,
Larkhall, Field South of Marshill Farm, Auchren Farm, Letham Farm and Dykehead Road
Wind Farms
9.9.23 There would be a limited amount of overlap between the ZTV for the proposed wind farm and
the ZTV’s for the 10 cumulative schemes located to the south west of the site in South
Lanarkshire. Peaks within the southern end of the Pentland Hills and higher land within North
and South Lanarkshire,, including the Tinto Hills would lie within the cumulative ZTV’s.
9.9.24 Twenty further wind farms, which are at the application stage, would have similar cumulative
ZTV’s to the 10 wind farms described above.
Glenkerie Wind Farm
9.9.25 There would be a limited amount of overlap between the ZTV’s for the two schemes. The
Glenkerie scheme is located to the south of the site in the Scottish Borders. Small pockets of
land on the southern end of the Pentland Hills and the fringes of the plains within South
Lanarkshire would lie within the ZTV together with peaks within the Upper Tweeddale area.
Braiden Hill, Damhead Farm, Bellestane Farm and Burnbrae Farm Wind Farms
9.9.26 There would be very limited overlap between the ZTV for the proposed wind farm and the
four cumulative wind farms west of the site within North Lanarkshire. Some very small areas
of the ZTV would be located near Cumbernauld and higher land along the M74 corridor in
South Lanarkshire.
9.9.27 One further wind farm, which is at the application stage, would have a similar cumulative ZTV
to the two wind farms described above.
Netherton Farm, Torrance Farm and Burnhead Moss Wind Farms
9.9.28 There would be moderate overlap between the ZTV of the proposed wind farm and the three
cumulative schemes to the north west of the site. The cumulative ZTV’s occur within the
plateau and plains landscape of West Lothian and Falkirk concentrated in the fringes of the
Pentland Hills and the higher land around the Bathgate Hills, land on the north facing slopes
of the Pentland Hills, the upper slopes of the Tinto Hills and the landscape in Firth north west
of Dunfermline.
Asda New Bankside Depot, Kirkton Farm and Todhill Farm Wind Farms
9.9.29 There would be a limited amount of overlap between the ZTV of the proposed wind farm and
the ZTV’s for the three cumulative schemes located to the north of the site within Falkirk.
