DENNIS JAMES, glass armonica: Dennis James' unique musical talents include a rare specialty - playing the glass armonica, an instrument whose hauntingly ethereal sound caused it to be dubbed "the instrument of gods.,, Linda Ronstadt was so intrigued by James and his glass armonica, she invited him to perform on her album "winter Lights." (coincidentally, the two most famous works for glass armonica were composed by Mozart. James will perform both.) In addition to being a glass "armonicist," James is internationally renowned as the leading expert and performer of music for silent films. James first played for Mainly Mozart in r998. JOHN LILL, piano: Considered "... one of the greatest pianists alive today...
