provided dentistry with high quality precious metal alloys.<br />
The dedicated materials science research team at Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc. has<br />
been responsible for a number of innovations over the years and has made<br />
a significant contribution to dentistry.<br />
ALLOYS<br />
Historically speaking, Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc. was instrumental in the early<br />
research of direct filling gold materials, and again later on, with the<br />
development of palladium based alloys for use with ceramics. Contributions<br />
to the casting gold alloys include the Harmony alloys which are the oldest<br />
line of alloys in continuous use for dentistry.<br />
