Goal and Objectives
Goal:
The Fourth International Nursing Conference aims to provide nurses and health
care providers with a platform for sharing their experiences on creative solutions
for challenges in health and nursing.
Themes
1. Reinventing the context for healthcare and nursing.
2. Centering care around the person.
3. Educating for transformation.
4. Championing creative solutions.
5. Meeting the challenges through evidence.
6. Promoting the command of ethics in healthcare and nursing.
Objectives:
1. Highlight creative solutions to healthcare and nursing challenges.
2. Celebrate champion projects, and ideas that make a difference in
the lives of people.
3. Build consensus on future direction for healthcare and nursing
globally, regionally and nationally.
4. Strengthen the culture of research among nurses and healthcare
professionals.
5. Promote partnership in practice, education and research.

Call for Abstracts
Deadline for Receiving Abstracts is January ,15, 2013
The scientific committee is seeking contributions relevant to the conference
themes in the form of papers and posters. If you are interested in presenting at
the conference, please submit your abstract to jnc.ic@jnc.gov.jo by completing the
“Abstract Form” using the “Abstract Submission Guidelines” found at the
JNC website www.jnc.gov.jo and as follows:
Guidelines for abstract submission:
1. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.
2. Abstracts should be typed using word format document, single space
and Times New Roman, font size, 12.
3. Abstract structure should include title, background and significance,
purpose, methods, results and conclusions.
4. Name(s) of author(s), affiliation, address, phone, and e-mail address
should appear on the abstract. Name of the presenter should be
underlined.
5. Complete the abstract form and submit it as an attachment to
jnc.ic@jnc.gov.jo Confirmation of abstract receipt will be forwarded within
one week of submission, otherwise resubmit to arwa@just.edu.jo and
cc: jnc.ic@jnc.gov.jo.
6. Presenters are requested to amend abstract according to recommendations.
7. A short biography of the presenter should be sent with your abstract (not
to exceed 500 words)
8. The acceptance of the abstract will be sent by February, 15, 2013.
9. Guidelines for presentation will be provided upon acceptance of abstract.

from JNC website www.jnc.gov.jo and send the completed form as an
attachment to jnc.ic@jnc.gov.jo
2- For “paper” registration complete the attached “Conference
Registration Form” and send to JNC address.
3- Registration will be confirmed by email upon receipt of fees.
