Introduction<br />

Command and Response Formats<br />

1. All commands have the following format: command . Where cr represents carriage return<br />

0x0D.<br />

2. Valid commands respond with OK or ERROR. Where lf represents line<br />

feed 0x0A. The only exceptions are ATSW20 and ATURST, which do not reply.<br />

3. Allow at least a 100ms delay between subsequent AT commands.<br />

4. HEX vs. Decimal – When writing or entering integer AT command string values, enter them in<br />

decimal format. When reading values from memory, they will be returned in hexadecimal format.<br />

5. If using HyperTerminal, the following check box should be disabled. Send line ends with line feeds. If<br />

not, the commands will not be submitted correctly.<br />

General Purpose I/O<br />

The send I/O pin for DTR can be configured as input or output. It is referred to in this document as<br />

follows:<br />

6 = DTR = PIO (6)<br />

Attention Command<br />

AT – Attention Command Prefix<br />

The prefix AT must precede every command except for +++. The remainder of the command line<br />

contains commands for the SocketWireless. The command script must end with a carriage return.<br />

Example:<br />

Type: AT<br />

Reply: OK<br />

Note:<br />

AT <strong>Commands</strong> can be in upper or lower case. The only exceptions to this are the SocketWireless<br />

Personal Identification alphanumeric Number (PIN), which is case sensitive, and ATOP.<br />

Firmware Version Command<br />

VER Get Firmware Version<br />

Format:<br />

ATVER, ver1<br />

Return Parameters: <br />

Example:<br />

Type: ATVER, ver1<br />

Reply: OK<br />

Ver 3.6.2.1.0.0<br />

Notes:<br />

• "ver1" is case sensitive; use lower case.<br />

• Make sure this version number matches this document version before proceeding.<br />
