Software Hardware ResponseAbility
Software development is our homebase. In 1987 the first professional
client/server application in Europe (ticketing for musicals)
became the starting point for individual programming. Today
customer specific software for high volume commercial applications
is still one of our core competences.
Since 1991 we dedicate a substantial part of our extensive R&D
activities to FRAMEWORKS. The concept is based on the ‘ancient’
idea of creating a library of re-occuring ‘frame elements’ within a
specific software project and the general reuse of these elements
in comparable software projects. Many have tried and failed to
master this complexity within a constantly changing environment
and rapidly evolving development platforms as it requires utmost
skill and dedication. c.a.r.u.s. gives daily proof that this is a valid
and mature concept as they offer only frameworks which have been
proven successful and reliable within c.a.r.u.s. own products. Software
products with such high level of standardisation are
available for the following industries: RETAIL, HEALTH and TELCO.
Today all of our own software
products are based on these
frameworks. Additionally we
offer them as a starter kit for our
customers’ own development
projects.
